Hello and welcome!
I am a teacher at Sardis Secondary School, a UBC Masters of Education Technology graduate, and most recently a National Geographic Grosvenor Fellow. During December 2014, I travelled to Antarctica with National Geographic and Lindblad Expeditions, in what was likely the most life-changing professional development I will ever undertake. It was an incredible honour to be able to share my experiences with my family, friends, students, colleagues and community through this website and presentations when I arrived back home. I was amazed and humbled by the number of you that took the time to read the blog. I have two more trips lined up for the coming year, one to Egypt, and the other to the tributaries of the Amazon River in Peru. In addition to being an educational portfolio, this website will provide a way for my online community to continue to follow along on my travels.
Thank you for taking the time to visit and I look forward to sharing my adventures with you.
